2024 Mid-Year Macroeconomic Update Webinar

Navigating Consumer Shifts Amid Economic Challenges

Consumer inflation has shown signs of easing over the past couple of months, driven by a drop in gas prices and cooling core services inflation. However, elevated inflation continues to pressure consumers across different generations, leading to persistent value-seeking and trade-down behaviors. Many consumers are primarily deal searching and increasingly turning to private-label products. How can suppliers strategically adapt their product offerings to meet the evolving preferences of consumers amid economic challenges?

Join Cleveland Research Company on Wednesday, July 17 at 12:00 pm ET for our 2024 Mid-Year Macroeconomic Update Webinar.

During this 60-minute session, Director of Macro Research, Skylar Xie, will share CRC’s updated economic outlook for 2024 and 2025, along with consumer spending trends influencing today’s economy.

Other discussion points include:

  • Updated inflation forecasts & spending growth expectations
  • Consumers’ financial situation & purchasing behaviors
  • Spending & sentiment around the election
