Costco continues to outperform Sam’s Club on most metrics, but Sam’s Club did close the gap on traffic in the companies’ most recently reported quarters driven primarily by more competitive pricing. Is this performance sustainable? Can Sam’s Club successfully compete within the traditional retail and club channels?
We seek to answer these questions and more on our 60 minute Sam’s Club Webinar. We will provide a current state of the business and real-time performance overview for Sam’s Club as it relates to the competitive set, and provide an update on the recent store closures, price investments, and the new MADRID program. We will also provide forward looking forecasts and a longer term outlook on how suppliers can win with Sam’s Club in 2018 and beyond.
We will discuss the following agenda, concluding the hour with Q&A:
- Sam’s Club Performance Overview
- Real-time Strategies Impacting Suppliers
- Recent Store Closures
- Price Investments
- ISB Strategy
- New MADRID Program
- Competitive Landscape/eCommerce
- CRC Conclusions/Forecasts & Action Items
