Foodservice Forum

The Forum will bring together industry leaders to learn fresh insights and participate in high-level discussions about the future of the foodservice industry.  Join us in Grapevine, TX (just outside of Dallas) on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Grapevine, TX for our 2019 Foodservice Forum.  This event is a unique opportunity for attendees to take a holistic approach to this dynamic industry and receive our perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing foodservice today as well as actionable ideas to take back to your teams.  Attendees will include top leaders from foodservice manufacturers, foodservice distributors, and restaurant operators such as Olo, Corner Bakery Cafe, Brinker International, Wawa, Harbor Wholesale Foods, Nicholas and Company, Jacmar, and Chick-fil-A.

CRC aims to create an atmosphere for robust dialogue centered on key macroeconomic topics affecting foodservice as well as trends within the restaurant, contract management, and foodservice distribution industries.  The event will include presentations from CRC analysts and guest speakers, with plenty of networking opportunities – including a cocktail reception the evening before the Forum.

Steven Gojak 
Senior Research Analyst & Partner, Cleveland Research Company

Steven is the Foodservice Sector Lead and Partner at Cleveland Research Company. His coverage includes the Foodservice industry specializing in generating proprietary research with a goal to identify trends and inflections that impact the financial performance and outlook across the food industry. Recently, Steven expanded Cleveland Research’s coverage to increase its impact on helping institutional investors and suppliers make more informed decisions. He is frequently invited to speak at numerous industry events and leadership conferences over the years both domestically and abroad.

Steven is a 2006 graduate of Miami University and currently lives in Concord Township, Ohio with his wife Jessica, and their two young children, Natalie and Evan.

Adrienne Moncrief
Director, Foodservice Council, Cleveland Research Company

Adrienne is the Director of the Foodservice Council at Cleveland Research Company, focused on writing research and hosting events. Adrienne is responsible for industry trend analysis and product development across the restaurant, distribution, and non-commercial foodservice channels, with the goal of providing business intelligence and actionable insights for manufacturers. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Writing and Strategic Communication and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Nick Fischietto
Research Associate, Cleveland Research Company

Nick is a Research Associate at Cleveland Research Company. He covers the foodservice industry, specializing in gathering channel insights to identify key inflections and trends within the industry. Nick’s focus is on helping both investor clients and manufacturer partners navigate the dynamic foodservice industry to make better strategic decisions and smarter investments. Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from The Ohio State University. He is an avid Cleveland and Buckeyes sports fan.

Marty Hahnfeld
Chief Customer Officer, Olo

Marty Hahnfeld is the Chief Customer Officer of Olo, the leading on-demand commerce platform for the restaurant industry. Olo’s digital ordering and delivery clients include Applebee’s, Chili’s, Chipotle, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Jamba Juice, Noodles & Company, Shake Shack, Wingstop, and many more.

Marty is a veteran technology executive and has led sales, marketing, and product innovation at a number of renowned Internet infrastructure and services companies including Ascend, Zhone, and Recyclebank. At Olo, Marty is responsible for sales, marketing, support and customer success. Since joining in 2013, Olo has grown over 20x, adding over 40,000 restaurants onto its platform and is widely regarded as one of the most forward-thinking companies in the restaurant technology world.

Marty has been featured and quoted regularly in both mainstream and industry media and is a frequent speaker and panelist at top industry events including the National Restaurant Association Show, FOODSCAPE, and consumer technology events by Citi, ICR, Jefferies & Co, RBS, UBS, and others.

Donna Josephson
Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Corner Bakery Café

Donna Josephson is a dynamic results-oriented marketing professional with over 20 years of restaurant marketing experience with such iconic brands as Chick-Fil-A, Applebee’s, Wendy’s and McAlister’s Deli. She is currently Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for Corner Bakery Café where she leads all, brand marketing and strategy, product R&D and menu strategy, as well as off premise strategy and supply chain and distribution management.

Donna’s greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and leadership. She enjoys creative problem solving especially in areas that increase company sales and profits. Other passions include developing high performance teams and creating cross functional partnerships to drive results.

In 2011, Donna was awarded the R. David Thomas Outstanding Management Award for her contributions to operations partnerships and product development. She has served on the Board of Easter Seals North GA, Technomic Operator Advisory Board, and SpenDifference Client Advisory Council.

Charlie Lousignont
Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management, Brinker International

Charlie Lousignont is Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Brinker International. In this role, he oversees all supply chain functions including procurement, food safety and quality assurance, distribution and logistics, brand program management and supply chain systems for Brinker’s corporate-owned restaurants. Charlie also ensures supply chain initiatives are consistent and supportive of the Chili’s® Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy® brand vision and objectives.

Prior to joining Brinker in 2014, Charlie served as Chief Procurement Officer of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. He also held positions as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management for ARAMARK North American Food and Hospitality Services and Chief Procurement Officer for Centralized Supply Chain Services.

Charlie currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Restaurant Association’s Supply Chain Management Executive Study Group and is a member of the Chain Restaurant Advisory Board for the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Miami.

In his spare time Charlie enjoys traveling with his wife Kathy and their three children, running and cycling.

Mike Sherlock
Sr. Vice President, Chief Product Marketing Officer, Wawa, Inc.

Mike Sherlock is the Sr. Vice President – Chief Product Marketing Officer. In his role, he oversees short and long-term category strategies to build the merchandise brand for Wawa’s 830 stores, which is nearly a $5 billion business. This includes Wawa’s core brands – fresh and packaged beverages, SizzliTM breakfast sandwiches, hoagies, and snacks. Mike oversees four teams within the marketing organization – category and brand management, product innovation, space planning and merchandising, and a center of excellence.

Mike sits on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Food Marketing at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was inducted into the Saint Joseph’s Food Marketing Hall of Fame in 2018. Mike serves on the Leadership Council for Penn Medicine’s Institute for Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism (IDOM). He has been the Executive Sponsor for the Rainbow Alliance at Wawa, and is actively involved with the Chester County Buddy Walk, initiatives focusing on inclusion and diversity. Mike received his MS and BS in Food Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University. He resides outside of Philadelphia with his wife, Christine, and their son, Quinn.
