Overall Target is expected to continue to benefit from its sales-driving initiatives (owned brands, remodels, flexible fulfillment) and from share leakage from distressed retailers in 2019. The company appears to be very focused on securing incremental margin support from vendors and further dialing up private label focus in an attempt to offset what is expected to be continued margin pressure on the business, primarily from digital fulfillment costs.
How will you navigate these challenges and capture growth in the overall retail channel and at Target? Let CRC help.
Join us Tuesday, March 12th from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Hilton in Minneapolis when we host our Second Annual Target Forum. We’ll not only review key takeaways from our recent Target senior management meetings, but we’ll also share what is working for suppliers, what to prepare for, and provide forward-looking forecasts and a longer term outlook on how suppliers can win with Target. Our guest speaker Conlego will also share their tips and best practices on the buyer negotiation process.
Our goal is to better equip you and your teams with relevant and actionable insights on Target and the broader retail environment across channels.
This event is best positioned for Target team leads, NAMs, category managers, and others calling on Target, as well as members of other retail teams that have interest in, compete with, or are looking to sell into Target.
